Dr. Ghimire is a geographer, sustainability scholar, and science policy enthusiast whose research spans global development, climate and energy, agrifood systems, and adaptation and resilience. He earned his Ph.D. from the College of Global Futures at Arizona State University, following a BS and MS in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University. Driven by his early career working on development projects that supported underserved communities in Nepal and the Hindu Kush Himalayan region, Dr. Ghimire is deeply committed to tackling real-world sustainability challenges. Methodologically, he specializes in mixed-methods research with a strong emphasis on creating context-specific solutions.
